Target Information
IGFBP2 (insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2) is a member of the IGFBP family that binds various IGFs.
IGFBP2 is overexpressed in multiple cancers, including glioma, prostate cancer, synovial sarcoma, neuroblastoma, colon cancer, adrenocortical cancer, lung cancer, Wilms' tumor, and hepatoblastoma.
Its overexpression correlates with tumor aggressiveness and activates matrix metalloprotease 2 (MMP2), contributing to cell invasiveness.
