Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes one of two proteins interacting with VP16, a herpes simplex virus protein that initiates infection. Both the encoded protein and the original Herpes host cell factor interact with VP16 through a beta-propeller domain. While the original host cell factor is effective at initiating viral infection, the encoded protein is not. Transcripts of varying length due to alternative polyadenylation signals have been described.
