특정 DNA 서열(5'-[AT]NTNN[GT]GGCA[AGT]-3')에 결합하여 pRB-E2F 세포주기 표적 유전자(RRM1 등)의 발현을 조절합니다.
THAP1/THAP3-HCFC1-OGT 복합체의 구성 요소로, RRM1 전사 활성 조절에 필요합니다.
또한 혈청 결핍 및 TNF 유도 세포사멸을 강화하여 세포자멸사를 촉진할 수 있습니다.
