Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
