PA1-750은 양 조직에서 프리온 단백질(PrP)을 검출합니다.
Western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry(Frozen)에서 성공적으로 사용되었습니다.
- Western blot에서 정상 및 감염된 양 뇌에서 33–35 kDa (PrPC) 및 27–30 kDa (PrPSc) 단백질을 검출합니다.
- 감염된 양 뇌의 포르말린 고정 조직에서 PrP 플라크의 강한 염색을 보여줍니다.
- 면역원 펩타이드는 햄스터 PrP의 아미노산 90–102 잔기에 해당합니다.
- 동일한 면역원 펩타이드(Cat. # PEP-034)는 중화 및 대조 실험에 사용할 수 있습니다.
Target Information
Prion protein (PrP, PRNP)은 GPI-앵커된 세포 표면 당단백질로, 세포 신호 전달에 관여하며, 세포 사멸 및 상피세포 증식 조절에 역할을 합니다.
정상형 PrPC가 비정상형 PrPSc로 전환되면 크로이츠펠트-야콥병(CJD)과 같은 프리온 신경퇴행성 질환의 병리적 과정이 유발됩니다.
PrPC는 α-helix 구조가 풍부하고, PrPSc는 β-sheet 구조가 많으며 단백질분해효소 K에 저항성을 가집니다.
