Target Information
Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) is encoded by the CAP1 gene located at 1p34.2.
This protein is related to the S. cerevisiae CAP protein, which participates in the cyclic AMP pathway.
Human CAP1 interacts with CAP2 and actin, and multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
