CCR4-NOT Transcription Complex 2 (CNOT2)는 주요 세포 내 mRNA deadenylase 복합체인 CCR4-NOT 복합체의 구성 요소입니다. 이 복합체는 mRNA 분해, miRNA 매개 억제, 번역 개시 단계에서의 번역 억제, 전사 조절 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다. 또한, CNOT2는 복합체의 구조적 안정성을 유지하는 데 필요하며, 전사 억제 기능을 가지며 HDAC3, NCOR1, NCOR2를 포함하는 N-Cor 억제 복합체와 연관될 수 있습니다.
