Target Information
Troponin 단백질은 tropomyosin과 결합하여 횡문근의 근섬유 수축 장치의 칼슘 민감도를 조절합니다. Troponin I (TnI)은 TnT 및 TnC와 함께 troponin 복합체의 3가지 서브유닛 중 하나로, actin-myosin 상호작용을 억제하여 근육 이완을 매개하는 억제 서브유닛입니다.
TnI 서브패밀리는 세 가지 유전자를 포함합니다: TnI-skeletal-fast-twitch, TnI-skeletal-slow-twitch, 그리고 TnI-cardiac.
TnI-fast와 TnI-slow 유전자는 각각 빠른 연축 및 느린 연축 골격근 섬유에서 발현되며, TnI-cardiac 유전자는 심근 조직에서만 발현됩니다.
이 유전자는 Troponin-I-skeletal-slow-twitch 단백질을 암호화하며, 초기 발달 단계에서는 심근 및 골격근에서 발현되지만 성체에서는 느린 연축 골격근 섬유에 제한적으로 발현됩니다.
해당 단백질은 actin-myosin 복합체의 칼슘 매개 구조적 변화를 억제하여 근육 수축을 방지합니다.
