Target Information
Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) is an enzyme encoded by the CAP1 gene in humans, located on chromosome 1p34.2.
This protein is homologous to the S. cerevisiae CAP protein involved in the cyclic AMP pathway. The human CAP1 protein interacts with other CAP1 molecules, CAP2, and actin.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
