Target Information
The NR2F1 gene encodes a nuclear hormone receptor and transcriptional regulator. The protein acts as a homodimer and binds to 5'-AGGTCA-3' repeats. Mutations in this gene are associated with Bosch-Boonstra optic atrophy syndrome (BBOAS).
