Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Annexin I belongs to a family of Ca²⁺-dependent phospholipid binding proteins that are preferentially located on the cytosolic face of the plasma membrane. Annexin I has a molecular mass of approximately 40 kDa and exhibits phospholipase A₂ inhibitory activity. Since phospholipase A₂ is required for the biosynthesis of potent mediators of inflammation such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes, Annexin I may possess potential anti-inflammatory activity.
