Target Information
TCEB1은 protein elongin C로 알려져 있으며, transcription factor B (SIII) complex의 서브유닛입니다. SIII complex는 elongins A/A2, B, C로 구성되어 있으며, RNA polymerase II의 일시적 정지를 억제하여 전사 신장을 활성화합니다. Elongin A는 전사 활성 구성요소로 작용하고, elongins B와 C는 조절 서브유닛 역할을 합니다. Elongin A2는 고환에서 특이적으로 발현되며, elongins B 및 C와 안정적인 복합체를 형성할 수 있습니다. 또한 von Hippel-Lindau 종양 억제 단백질은 elongins B 및 C에 결합하여 전사 신장을 억제합니다.
