E2 효소 UBCH5C와 SCF (FBXW11) E3 리가아제 복합체와 협력하여 NFKBIA의 폴리유비퀴틴화를 유도하고, 이는 프로테아좀 분해로 이어집니다.
또한 SCF (SKP2) 복합체와 협력하여 MYBL2 및 KIP1의 유비퀴틴화를 통해 세포 증식을 조절합니다.
WEE1 kinase 및 β-catenin의 분해에도 관여하며, 세포 주기 G2/M 단계 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 human herpes virus 1 단백질 ICP0의 표적이 되며, ICP0 의존적 프로테아좀 상호작용을 유도합니다.
