Target Information
Epidermal growth factor-like protein 7 (EGFL7), also known as VE-statin, MEGF7, Notch4-like protein, or Zneu1, is a 29.6 kDa protein produced and secreted by endothelial cells. The protein is also expressed by some normal and malignant tissues. EGFL7 plays a key role in regulating angiogenesis and vasculogenesis, and high levels are found in tissues with active angiogenesis associated with various disorders.
