Target Information
TRAIL-R1 (CD261, DR4)는 type I transmembrane protein으로, TRAIL receptor 1이라고도 불립니다. 이 DR4 death receptor의 ligand는 TRAIL로 확인되었으며 TNF family에 속합니다. DR4는 Fas, TNFR1 등과 같이 다양한 세포 및 조직에서 apoptosis 및 NF-kappaB 활성화를 매개합니다. Apoptosis는 정상적인 세포 분화 및 다세포 생물의 발달 과정에서 중요한 프로그램된 세포 사멸 과정입니다. TNF family의 cytokine(TNF, Fas ligand 등)과 death domain을 포함한 receptor(TNFR1, Fas receptor 등)의 결합에 의해 apoptosis가 유도됩니다.
