Target Information
ZDHHC20 catalyzes palmitoylation of cysteine residues on target proteins (PubMed:27153536, PubMed:29326245).
It regulates EGFR signaling duration through palmitoylation-dependent internalization and degradation.
Prefers acyl-CoA with C16 fatty acid chains, but can also utilize C14 and C18 chains.
