Target Information
CT47 (cancer/testis antigen family 47)는 288 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, 고환에서 강하게 발현되며 태반과 뇌에서 낮게 발현됩니다.
CT47 유전자는 인간 X 염색체에 위치하며, X 염색체는 약 1,000개의 유전자를 포함하고 약 1억 5천 3백만 염기쌍으로 구성되어 있습니다.
X와 Y 염색체의 조합은 남성 발달을, 두 개의 X 염색체는 여성 발달을 유도합니다.
염색체 수 이상으로 인한 대표적인 질환으로는 Klinefelter 증후군(XXY), Turner 증후군(XO), Triple X 증후군(XXX) 등이 있으며, 색맹, 혈우병, Duchenne 근이영양증은 X 염색체 연관 질환으로 남성에게 더 흔히 나타납니다.
