Target Information
Connexin 43 (Cx43)는 gap junction 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 세포 간 통신을 매개하는 hemichannel을 형성합니다. 이러한 채널의 집합체는 gap junction을 구성하며, 이는 발달 및 세포 성장 조절에 중요합니다.
Cx43의 인산화는 gap junction의 조립과 기능 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. Ser368 잔기는 PKC에 의해 인산화되어 세포 간 통신을 감소시키며, Src kinase 또한 Cx43을 인산화하여 통신을 조절할 수 있습니다.
Cx43은 심장에서 주요한 gap junction 단백질로, 심근 수축의 동기화 및 배아 발달에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 여러 단백질 키나아제에 의해 조절되어 심근 세포 간 결합에 영향을 미칩니다.
