Target Information
ZCRB1 is a nuclear protein identified in a differential display screen related to morphine-dependence genes. Its expression increases following morphine treatment and is elevated in HepG2 cells. ZCRB1 contains a CCHC-type zinc finger RNA-binding motif and interacts with the DNA-binding domain of C/EBP transcription factors. It is a component of U11/U12 snRNPs involved in U12-type spliceosome function, suggesting a role in U12-type splicing.
