Target Information
AURKC (Aurora C)는 염색체 여객 단백질(chromosomal passenger protein)로, AURKB (Aurora B) 및 inner centromere 단백질과 복합체를 형성하여 유사분열 중 중심체/방추체 기능과 관련된 미세소관 조직에 관여합니다.
여러 암세포주에서 과발현되어 종양 신호전달에 관여할 가능성이 있으며, 세포주기 동안의 발현 패턴과 세포 내 위치 연구를 통해 유사분열 구조와의 연관성이 제시되었습니다.
Aurora kinase는 G2기에서 세포질분열에 이르는 주요 세포주기 사건(중심체 복제, 염색체 정렬 및 분리, 세포질 분열홈 위치 결정 등)에 관여합니다.
