Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues, incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD162 (PSGL-1) is a 120 kDa homodimer protein expressed on leukocytes and platelets. It binds to CD62P (P-selectin), CD62L (L-selectin), and to a lesser extent CD62E (E-selectin). These interactions are critical for leukocyte adhesion, rolling, and extravasation. CD162 serves as an important immune marker of T cell exhaustion in chronic viral infections and cancer.
