INPP5J(inositol polyphosphate-5-phosphatase J)는 PIB5PA, PIPP, INPP5 등으로도 알려진 1,006 아미노산 길이의 세포질 단백질로, inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate를 inositol 1,4-bisphosphate로 전환하는 데 관여합니다.
INPP5J는 폐, 위, 신장, 뇌, 소장, 심장에서 발현되며, 세포막 돌기 부위에 위치하여 inositol 및 phosphatidylinositol polyphosphate 결합 단백질의 조절에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
이 단백질은 인간 염색체 22에 위치한 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 세 가지 이소폼을 생성합니다.
