Target Information
ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs) are key regulators in intracellular vesicular trafficking. The protein encoded by the ARFGEF2 gene activates ARFs by accelerating the exchange of GDP for GTP and participates in Golgi transport. It contains a Sec7 domain responsible for guanine-nucleotide exchange activity and brefeldin A inhibition.
