Target Information
KTELC1 (also termed CLP46) is a glucosyltransferase involved in protein modification and glycosylation. The KTELC1 gene encodes a 392-amino-acid protein (approx. 46 kDa) that undergoes glycosylation. It is localized in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and abundantly expressed in liver, brain, heart, skeletal muscle, spleen, kidney, placenta, lung, and peripheral blood leukocytes. KTELC1 may play a regulatory role in cell proliferation and the Notch signaling pathway.
