Product Specific Information

The T3.70 monoclonal antibody reacts with the transgenic alpha beta TCR that recognizes the male antigen H-Y in the context of H-2D^b. A large fraction of T cells in H-Y TCR transgenic mouse expresses this receptor. The H-Y TCR transgenic mouse has been used extensively to study T cell development and the role of thymic MHC in CD4^+ and CD8^+ T cell differentiation.
