Target Information
MST4는 serine/threonine kinase 계열인 Ste20-like kinase family의 구성원으로, 전립선암 발달 중 과발현됩니다. 이 단백질은 GCK group III family에 속하며, N-말단 kinase domain과 C-말단 조절 도메인을 포함합니다. 조절 도메인은 homodimerization을 매개하며, 단백질 kinase는 Golgi apparatus에 위치하고 Golgi matrix protein GM130과 결합 시 활성화됩니다. 또한 caspase-3에 의해 절단되어 apoptosis 경로에서 기능할 수 있습니다. 여러 splice variant가 보고되었으나, 일부의 full-length 구조는 아직 명확히 규명되지 않았습니다.
