Target Information
CD276, also known as B7-H3, is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules. It is a type I transmembrane protein that promotes proliferation of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells, enhances cytotoxic T cell generation, and selectively stimulates interferon γ production. CD276 expression is inducible on dendritic cells and monocytes by inflammatory cytokines and is broadly expressed in peripheral tissues such as the heart, kidney, testis, and colon. Two isoforms exist in humans due to gene duplication and differential splicing. CD276 has potential therapeutic applications in regulating cell-mediated immune responses to cancer, particularly when combined with anti‑angiogenic therapy.
