Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질 내에서 DNA와 결합하는 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3는 다른 네 가지 핵심 히스톤 단백질과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복제 및 수선, 염색체 안정성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
히스톤 H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 다양한 번역 후 변형(post-translational modification)을 받으며, 이는 크로마틴 구조 변화 또는 전사 인자 결합에 영향을 미칩니다. 이러한 변형에는 라이신 및 아르기닌의 메틸화 또는 아세틸화, 세린 또는 트레오닌의 인산화가 포함됩니다.
