The ARCTURUS™ RiboAmp™ HS PLUS RNA Amplification Kit enables researchers to perform molecular analysis on RNA samples that were previously too small for microarray analysis. This kit provides unique linear amplification from as little as 100 pg of total RNA, with messenger RNA amplified up to 1,000,000-fold in two rounds. The resulting amplified antisense RNA (aRNA) is ready for labeling, microarray hybridization, or real-time PCR.

Amplify from as Few as Ten Cells

The RiboAmp™ HS PLUS RNA Amplification Kit allows microarray studies using total RNA from as few as ten microdissected cells. With 100–500 pg of total RNA or 10–50 cells captured by Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM), sufficient amplified RNA can be generated for cDNA or oligonucleotide microarray studies.
For optimal results, use the PicoPure™ RNA Isolation Kit to maximize RNA recovery from small samples before amplification.

Ensure High Fidelity after Two Rounds

This amplification method preserves the original mRNA representation after two amplification rounds, enabling accurate gene expression profiling from ultra-small samples. Comparative microarray hybridization studies show high concordance between total RNA and amplified RNA (aRNA), confirming the fidelity required for meaningful differential gene expression data.
