Target Information

KIR3DL1 (Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 3DL1)는 자연살해세포(NK cell)와 일부 T 세포에서 발현되는 막관통성 당단백질입니다. KIR 유전자는 염색체 19q13.4의 leukocyte receptor complex(LRC) 내에서 다형성을 가지며 고도로 상동적인 구조를 갖습니다.
KIR 단백질은 세포 외부 도메인의 수(2D 또는 3D)와 세포질 도메인의 길이(L 또는 S)에 따라 분류됩니다. 긴(L) 세포질 도메인을 가진 KIR 단백질은 ITIM(immune tyrosine-based inhibitory motif)을 통해 억제 신호를 전달하며, 짧은(S) 도메인을 가진 단백질은 TYRO 단백질 티로신 키나제 결합 단백질과 결합하여 활성 신호를 전달합니다.
여러 KIR 단백질의 리간드는 HLA class I 분자의 일부이며, 따라서 KIR 단백질은 면역 반응 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
