Target Information
PLK4 (Polo-like kinase 4) is a serine/threonine protein kinase localized to centrioles in centrosomes and regulates centriole duplication during the cell cycle.
Overexpression of PLK4 induces centriole amplification, while reduced PLK4 dosage increases mitotic errors and cancer risk.
