Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SLC7A8 is a sodium-independent, high-affinity transporter of large neutral amino acids.
It shows higher affinity for L-phenylalanine than LAT1, but lower affinity for glutamine and serine.
L-alanine is transported at physiological concentrations.
SLC7A8 also contributes to basolateral reabsorption of neutral amino acids.
