Background
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 1B (TNFRSF1B)는 TNF receptor superfamily에 속하며, 인간 TNF RII는 ECD 내에 4개의 cysteine-rich repeat를 포함하고 있습니다. 마우스 및 랫트 ortholog와 각각 58%, 56%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가집니다.
TNF RII는 주로 T세포, NK세포, 내피세포, 신경세포, 성상세포, 심근세포, 흉선세포, 중간엽 줄기세포 등 혈액계 및 신경계 세포에서 발현됩니다.
TNF RII는 막결합형 TNFα 및 Lymphotoxinα/TNFβ에 결합하며, 용해형 TNF는 주로 TNF RI를 통해 신호를 전달합니다. 용해형 TNF RII는 TNF와 결합하여 막 수용체 활성화를 억제함으로써 TNF의 생물학적 활성을 저해하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
