Background
EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor)는 단백질 키나아제 초과족에 속하는 막관통 당단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 표피 성장 인자(EGF) 계열의 리간드와 결합하여 리셉터 이합체화를 유도하고, 티로신 자기 인산화 반응을 통해 세포 증식을 유도합니다.
EGFR은 RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK, PI3K-AKT, PLCγ-PKC, STATs 등 주요 신호전달 경로를 활성화하며, NF-κB 신호전달도 유도할 수 있습니다. 또한 RGS16을 직접 인산화하여 GTPase 활성을 활성화함으로써 G 단백질 연결 수용체 신호전달과의 연계를 조절합니다.
