생물학적 배경
Mouse Interleukin 1 receptor type II (IL1R2)는 interleukin-1 receptor family에 속하는 cytokine receptor로, IL1A, IL1B, IL1R1/IL1RA와 결합하여 decoy receptor로 작용합니다.
IL-1R2는 3개의 Ig-like domain, 단일 transmembrane 영역, 짧은 cytoplasmic domain으로 구성되어 있으며, B lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes, large granular leukocytes, endothelial cells 등 다양한 세포에서 발현됩니다.
Mouse IL1RII는 인간 IL1RII의 extracellular domain과 59%의 아미노산 서열 상동성을 공유합니다.
IL-1R1은 신호 전달에 관여하지만 IL-1R2는 신호 전달 기능이 없는 decoy receptor로서 IL-1 활성을 억제합니다.
