Target Information
PAX5는 paired box (PAX) 전사인자 가족에 속하며, 초기 발달 과정에서 중요한 조절자로 작용합니다. PAX 단백질의 발현 이상은 종양성 변형과 관련이 있습니다. PAX5는 B세포 계통 특이 활성화 단백질(BSAP)로, B세포 분화의 초기 단계에서 발현되며 후기 단계에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 또한 중추신경계(CNS)와 고환에서도 발현되어 신경 발달 및 정자 형성에도 관여할 수 있습니다. PAX5 유전자 변이는 백혈병 및 급성 림프모구성 백혈병과 관련이 있습니다.
