Target Information
Carbonic anhydrases는 이산화탄소의 가역적 수화 반응을 촉매하는 아연 금속효소 계열입니다. 호흡, 석회화, 산-염기 균형, 골흡수, 그리고 안방수, 뇌척수액, 타액, 위액의 형성 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다.
이 유전자는 폐 모세혈관과 근위 신세뇨관의 내강 표면에 발현되는 glycosylphosphatidyl-inositol-anchored 막형 isozyme을 암호화합니다. 정확한 기능은 밝혀지지 않았으나, 중탄산염 수송의 유전적 이상과 관련될 수 있습니다.
