Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
IdU (Idoxuridine) is a nucleoside analogue derived from deoxyuridine. The iodine atom in the uracil moiety prevents normal base pairing, thereby inhibiting viral DNA replication.
It is primarily used topically due to cardiotoxicity. Idoxuridine was first synthesized by William Prusoff in the late 1950s.
