Target Information
TNIK (TRAF2 and NCK interacting kinase)는 N-terminal kinase domain과 C-terminal GCK domain을 가지며, 후자는 조절 기능을 수행합니다. TNIK는 주로 뇌, 심장, 비장에서 발현되며 RAP2의 특정 효소로서 actin cytoskeleton을 조절합니다. 또한 TNIK는 kinase domain의 ATP-binding pocket 내 Lys54에 의존적으로 자가 인산화되며, 세포골격 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. TNIK는 gelsolin(세포 내외 actin 절단 단백질)을 인산화할 수 있으며, 돌연변이 연구 결과 TNIK가 세포골격 조절에 관여함을 시사합니다.
