Target Information
Recoverin is implicated in the pathway from retinal rod guanylate cyclase to rhodopsin. It may be involved in the inhibition of rhodopsin phosphorylation in a calcium-dependent manner. The calcium-bound recoverin prolongs the photoresponse.
