Target Information
Vesicle-associated membrane protein-associated protein B/C (VAPB) is a type IV membrane protein encoded by the VAPB gene on human chromosome 20.
This protein is found in plasma and intracellular vesicle membranes, forming homodimers and heterodimers with VAPA.
It interacts with VAMP1 and VAMP2 and may play a role in vesicle trafficking.
