This antibody can recognize both the phosphorylated and unphosphorylated forms of GAP43.
Target Information
GAP43 (Neuromodulin) is associated with nerve growth. It is expressed by developing and regenerating neurons, and to a lesser extent by reactive glial cells. GAP43 is a major component of motile growth cones at the tips of elongating axons and plays a role in axonal and dendritic filopodia induction.
