Target Information
Factor I is a serine protease that regulates both the alternative and classical complement pathways.
It is synthesized as a single-chain precursor (88 kDa) and processed into an active form composed of two disulfide-linked chains:
- a-chain: 50 kDa
- b-chain: 38 kDa
