Target Information
TM4SF1은 transmembrane 4 superfamily (tetraspanin family)에 속하는 세포막 단백질로, 네 개의 소수성 도메인을 가지며 세포 발달, 활성화, 성장 및 이동 조절에 관여하는 신호전달에 참여합니다. TM4SF1은 여러 인간 암의 혈관 내피세포에서 높게 발현되며, 발현 억제 시 filopodia 형성 저해, 세포 이동성 감소, 세포분열 억제 및 VEGF-A 유도 혈관신생 성숙 억제를 보입니다. 따라서 TM4SF1은 항혈관신생 치료의 유망한 표적 단백질로 제안됩니다.
