Target Information
MON1A is a cytosolic protein that peripherally associates with the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).
It plays an important role in membrane trafficking through the secretory apparatus and affects multiple steps in the secretory pathway, including ER-to-Golgi traffic.
MON1A encodes several isoforms with molecular weights of approximately 62, 55, 45, and 34 kDa.
