Target Information
ELL encodes an RNA polymerase II transcription factor frequently translocated in acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
ELL contains a unique RNA polymerase II interaction domain capable of repressing promoter-specific transcription.
EAP30, a subunit of the ELL complex, interacts with ELL and can derepress its inhibitory activity in vitro.
