Target Information
Protein kinase A (PKA, cAMP-dependent protein kinase)는 세포 주기, 세포 간 신호전달, 기억 형성 및 행동 조절 등 다양한 생리 과정에서 중요한 신호 전달 경로의 핵심 구성 요소입니다.
PKA는 두 개의 catalytic subunit (PKAc)과 두 개의 regulatory subunit (PKAr)로 구성되어 있습니다.
cAMP가 결합하면 복합체가 해리되어 PKAr 이합체와 두 개의 활성화된 PKAc monomer가 형성됩니다.
활성화된 PKAc는 핵으로 이동하여 여러 핵 호르몬 수용체의 활성화에 관여하며, tonicity-dependent 유전자 발현의 활성화는 cAMP 비의존적입니다.
인간은 세 가지 PKAc 아형(alpha, beta, gamma)을 발현하며, alpha는 대부분의 조직에 존재하고 beta와 gamma는 조직 특이적으로 발현됩니다. gamma는 주로 고환에서 발견됩니다.
