Target Information

LGR7 is a low-density lipoprotein receptor of 757 amino acids belonging to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family with rhodopsin-like receptor activity. It has seven transmembrane regions, a cysteine-rich motif, 10 LRR domains, and 5 N-glycosylation sites in the N terminus.
Research reports show that LGR7 acts as a receptor for relaxins (RLN1 and RLN2), stimulating adenylate cyclase activation, substrate adhesion, and chemo-migratory capacity of mononuclear leukocytes.
LGR7 is critical for mediating these biological responses via RNA interference lentiviral short hairpin constructs. It is widely expressed in 86% of 15 primary EC tissue samples, including brain, kidney, testis, and endometrium.
