Target Information
CAMK1D (CaMK1 delta) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. It is expressed in polymorphonuclear leukocytes and may participate in chemokine signaling pathways regulating granulocyte function. CAMK1D may also play a role in neuronal apoptosis modulation. The CaMK1D-beta isoform exhibits Ca²⁺/CaM-dependent activity and is upregulated through phosphorylation of Thr180 by CAM-Kkalpha.
