Target Information
Calcium-regulated non-lysosomal thiol-protease involved in membrane trafficking in gastric surface mucus cells (pit cells). May play a role in membrane trafficking of mucus cells via interactions with coat protein and proteolytically cleaves the beta-subunit of coatomer complex.
